Ben "Speedy" Gonzales (born Benito Gonzales) is a Filipino-born Australian former professional rugby league footballer who made his mark in the NSWRL premiership during the 1980s and early 1990s.
- He began his first-grade career as a junior for the Penrith Panthers, making his debut in 1984 and quickly becoming a fixture in their backline primarily as a speedy winger.
- His breakout season arrived in 1985 when he played 25 games, scored 11 tries—including a memorable hat-trick against the Canberra Raiders—and helped push the Panthers into the first finals appearance in the club's history.
- In 1988, Gonzales moved on to become a crucial foundation player for the newly formed Gold Coast Giants (later renamed the Seagulls and Chargers), missing their very first game but playing consistently throughout their inaugural season.
- Known for his blistering pace on the flanks, he finished his enduring career at the end of 1991 with a combined total of 135 first-grade appearances and 40 tries across both clubs.
